Pi Phi Takes Over Kings Island

At Pi Phi we strive to make our sisterhood events fun and enjoyable for the entire chapter in addition to promoting unity amongst our women.  To achieve this, we recently had a surprise sisterhood at King’s Island!  (King’s Island is an amusement park and water park located in Mason, Ohio.)  It was so exciting seeing the look on the girls’ faces when we revealed the destination!

The girls were divided into groups of 6-7 and released onto the park around 11am.  The small groups allowed for people to get to know one another better in a fun a relaxing environment.  Although, it was amazing running into other groups of your sisters on rides such as The Vortex, Diamond Back, Flight of Fear, and many others!

Lunchtime was one of the best parts of the day, because everyone gathered together in one location to share stories of where they had been and what they had ridden.  King’s Island provided our chapter with a fabulous lunch of hamburgers, friend chicken, pasta salad, unlimited soft drinks, and ice cream.  Needless to say, the girls took advantage of that!

By the end of the day, everyone was sad to leave but ready to go home.  We had screamed and laughed ourselves into exhaustion but made memories with our sisters we would never forget.  Pi Beta Phi is built on strong women who take pride in themselves and in their sisters.  It is events like these that reinforce the strong bond we have with one another and remind us why we chose to become a Pi Phi in the first place.
