Every spring, Ohio Kappa looks forward to
our biggest event of the year – the Beaux & Arrows Formal! Unlike the rest
of our two ways, date parties and other social events, Beaux & Arrows is,
well, formal. For weeks, girls hound their sisters for jewelry and shoes they
could borrow, spending hours upon hours at the mall and scouring the internet
for the perfect dress.
The day of, Angels and their dates met at the Pi Phi house for pictures and mingling before the event. After loading into four different buses, the group was headed for a night to remember.
This year, our
formal was hosted at Reservations Inc. in Western Hills and we couldn’t have
been happier. Appetizers like chicken fingers and meatballs were served, with
amazing mini desserts like cheesecake and red velvet cake at a table all to
themselves. This year, in addition to all the other formal festivities that
take place, we decided to add a photo booth! It was a huge, huge success.
All of the girls took their time wishing the seniors farewell, as they danced together in the middle for the final song. It was OH Kappa's first large class to graduate, and a vast majority of these girls were members of our Charter Class.
